The secret ofPhantom Katrina Kaif was kept out of!
There was something director Kabir Khan had to keep hidden from Katrina for her own benefit. Read on to know what it was…
Kabir Khan’s upcoming action thriller, Phantom is all set to release on August 28. The film revolves around Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif who are Indian undercover agents on a mission to capture and finish four terrorists who were behind the 26.11 Mumbai attacks. And for their mission, they travel a lot of places one among them being Lebanon. But while shooting there, something happened that the entire team hid from Katrina. In fact, Kabir gave strict instruction to all to keep mum about it. Wondering what it is? Well here’s the thing…
So Kabir reached the Lebanon-Syrian border to set up a refuge camp between the mountains there with his entire crew of about 500 people. Yes you heard that right, 500 people! Unfortunately, the Israeli forces assumed them to be a rebel movement and so they started to keep a tab on them. While talking about the same to a leading daily, Kabir said, “There were these two F-16s circling over our heads while we were shooting. We got worried and asked the locals about them, who told us that these were actually Israeli Air Forces who were keeping a tab on our movement suspecting us to be some kind of rebel movement.”
He then informed about it to Saif Ali and a few other crew members but decided to keep the secret far away from Katrina as he was worried she would be scared. So Kat continued shooting without even realising that she was being watched.
