First Look Of Shaandaar : Alia Bhatt, Shahid Kapoor get all mushy in Vikas Bahl's next

On Tuesday, Fox Star Hindi put out an image of Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt on Twitter. It was from their upcoming film Shaandaar. Many thought it was the 'first look' of the much-awaited film, it was actually a teaser to the first look. The picture shows Alia Bhatt sleeping on a bench and Shahid Kapoor fast asleep on the ground. There are two entwined cloud hearts in the back-ground.

The two actors tweeted the image, stating that the first look of Shaandaar is on its way:

 


People were genuinely confused. Was that the first look? In the middle of all these questions, the actual first look ofShaandaar came out on Wednesday. Here, take a look:

Yup, there's no confusion. That was indeed a 'teaser' of the 'first look'. What happened to the good old days of sitting with bated breath in front of your TV to catch the trailer of a film you read about in Bombay Times? We now have a teaser to the first look, a first look, a teaser that's a couple of seconds long, a 2-odd minute trailer and then finally, the film.

There's nothing great or imaginative about either the 'teaser' or the 'first look'.

However, with names like Dharma Productions, Phantom, and Vikas Bahl attached to it, Shaandaar sounds promising. After all, Bahl's Queen starring Kangana has been the talk of the town for a long time now.

And oh, it's about a 'destination wedding'. Now that sounds like Sooraj Barjatya 2.0, but we aren't ready to give up on Bahl yet.

The official trailer will be out on 11 August and film will release on 22nd October, 2016.
